Simon.Hibbott.com is my personal weblog. I’m Simon Hibbott, fifty-something Web Designer, Developer and Founder of Generation X Digital and Technology Partner at creative agency Heading for the Coast.
I am currently working as a Business Advisor for Business Wales, in their Entrepreneurship & Start-up division.
During 2023 and 2024 I was the Membership Advisor for the Federation of Small Businesses covering Mid Wales, North East Wales and the Chester area. I continue to be a great proponent of the benefits it offers to small businesses.
I also work as a Management Mentor for the Government’s ‘Help to Grow’ Management Course, supporting SME leaders to increase the resilience and performance of their businesses..
I am happily married to Jude, and have three daughters: Tara, Isabelle and India. In 2020 we moved from Ellesmere, Shropshire to Bryntanat, a very neglected 10 bedroom country house in Powys. We are slowly restoring it as our family home on a shoestring. I hope to run it as an eco-tourism business in retirement.
We love travelling and spent the summer this year in Italy and the French Alps. Next summer we hope to travel to Indonesia.
